At 16, Daniel attended Brackenhurst Agricultural College in Nottinghamshire where he studied for his ‘A’ levels and BHSAI. After attaining both, he wanted to specialise in Dressage and traveled to Germany and worked for Ulli Kasselman at the P.S.I. Auction stables where he rode horses from 3 years old up to Grand Prix level.

When Daniel returned to the UK, he took employment with Emile Faurie and became ‘stable jockey’ for the next 10 years riding and competing up to Inter I small tour.

Daniel now runs a successful yard with Jamie Reynolds from Lady Inchcape’s home at Grange Farm in Oxfordshire. His current rides include Santa Cruz, who had a successful first year at small tour and hopes will now begin big tour.
