Simon and Frances took over Hoplands Equestrian Centre on 1st May 2007.
Simon does not currently ride but is a businessman with a background in high street retail and property developing. His role at Hoplands is to mastermind the development of the site and manage the construction team.
Frances has ridden from an early age and currently has one horse based at Hoplands.
Her professional background is in the automotive industry and in motor sport,
where she was employed as a marketing manager and PR for many years. Frances has
worked for Ford, Land Rover, Aston Martin and the Shell-Ferrari F1 team. Her role
at Hoplands EC is to promote the facilities, and to further develop the competitions
and clinics.
