Indoor Show Jump Schooling
|
|
Our next Indoor SJ Schooling sessions are Friday and
Saturday 29th/30th January followed by Friday and Saturday 5th/6th February.
On these days, a full course of 10-12 showjumps is set
in the arena, with fillers, combinations, planks, etc.
We ask you not to alter distances or move the fences,
but you can set the heights to suit you at the start
of your session.
The arena can be hired as normal at any other time,
for either jumping or flatwork, but you will need to
set the jumps to suit you if you wish to use them.
The cost is £20 for half an hour, £30 for 45 minutes
or £40 for an hour. Note that instructors booking
on behalf of clients normally qualify for a 25%
discount on these prices, but that this discount
does not apply on Show Jump schooling days. All prices
are for up to 4 horses sharing the arena and include
lights if needed.
Call 01794 388838 to book.

Equestrian Coaching Committee – 2010 Dates at Hoplands EC
|
|
The Equestrian Coaching Committee and Sport England have got together to deliver a series of workshops dedicated to educating and enlightening coaches within the industry.
The Technique Enhancing Day is both classroom and practically based, covering areas such as coaching styles, learning styles, lesson planning, goal setting, coaching the competition rider and giving feedback. It is ideal for coaches in the industry who want to broaden their knowledge and re-fresh their skills.
The Sports Coaching Workshops which span five months (one day a month) is comprehensively designed for the coach wishing to advance their skills in all areas and reflects on the highly successful Coaching Development Programme currently run by British Eventing for the BEF.
Both workshops are ideal for coaches studying for the UKCC Level 3 or other qualifications in equestrian sports coaching.
Sport England are kindly subsidising the workshops for applicants in 2010.
