Recently married, Sam and Lucy Griffiths run a yard of 15 event horses ranging
from Pre-Novice through to 4 star.
Sam, an Australian, has been in
the UK for more than 10 years and is now rated as one of the top event
riders in the world. He was the reserve rider for the Athens Olympics and
is currently on the Elite list for the Beijing Olympics. Sam has ridden
several horses to top 10 placings at Badminton, Burghley and Blenheim and is
aiming Connigar Bay, his Elite squad horse, at Burghley this Autumn.
As well as
helping Sam with the yard, Lucy combines eventing her own horse, Wightlink Bay,
with working full time as a freelance photographer specialising in equestrian,
landscape and horticultural images.
